Bhadrak, Feb 26: On auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida today announced that Odisha government will allocate Rs 10 crore for the development of the Baba Akhandalamani Temple at Aradi in Bhadrak district.
Earlier today, Parida along with Minister Suryabanshi Suraj, Bhadrak MLA Sitansu Sekhar Mohapatra, and Bhadrak Collector Dilip Routray visited the shrine and offered prayers to the deity.
The Tourism Department will allocate ₹10 crore for the development of the temple and its surrounding areas. If more funds are needed, the government will provide it as well and ensure complete development of this sacred site, said Parida.
Expressing his gratitude, Minister Suryabanshi Suraj thanked the Deputy CM for the initiative and assured that the state government would take all necessary steps to enhance and uplift the temple.
