Baripada, Mar 26: In a shocking incident, the naked body of a school teacher was found hanging in forest in Baisinga locality of Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Hadibandhu Soren (41) of Tentuligaon village under Anla panchayat in the district.
According to sources, Hadibandhu was a teacher at Sinhadiha Primary School in Purunia panchayat. For the past few years, he had been living apart from his wife and two children due to family problems. His colleagues said he often seemed troubled by personal issues and appeared mentally stressed.
Today morning, some locals spotted his naked body hanging in the Nimadiha forest under Baisinga police limits and alerted the police.
Upon getting the information, police arrived at the spot and brought the body down. Subsequently, it was sent for post-mortem.
An unnatural death case has been registered and further investigation into the matter is underway, said the police.
