Bhubaneswar, Mar 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday paid tributes to freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their martyrdom day.
"Today, our Nation remembers the supreme sacrifice of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. His fearless pursuit for freedom and justice inspires us all,” posted Modi on X.
Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru were hanged in Lahore jail on March 23, 1931.
Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati paid his heartfelt tribute to the valiant martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom and integrity of the great nation.
“Tributes to the great revolutionaries #BhagatSingh, #Sukhdev & #Rajguru, who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our country. Their selfless sacrifice and unwavering commitment to our motherland will continue to inspire generations. Jai Hind!” said Odisha CM in a post on X.
