President Droupadi Murmu declares Indian Navy Day Celebration open at Blue Flag Beach in Odisha’s Puri

Puri, December 4: President of India Droupadi Murmu declared the Indian Navy Day Celebration open at Blue Flag Beach in Odisha’s Puri on Wednesday.

The President who was in Puri from the morning, was taken abode an Electro Vehicle of the Shree Jagannath Temple to the well festooned Blue Flag Beach to inaugurate the auspicious celebration in the afternoon.

After the arrival of Murmu at the Blue Flag Beach, she was given a rousing welcome by the offficers of Indian Navy contingents where she was honoured amid the National Song and National Anthem.

Three Chetak Choppers exhibited attractive formations with the Tricolours having precisions in their crisscross following which majestic performances in the sea and up above the Puri Sea Beach  were demonstrated by the Indian Navy.

President Murmu witnessed the valiant shows performed by the Indian Navy officials live form the stage.

Among others, Odisha Governor Raghubar Das, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi accompanied by the team of Legislators were present at the celebration ground to witness the glorious event, being hosted from the Odisha Coast for the first time.
