Bhubaneswar, Nov 2: Angry locals blocked Jayadev Vihar- Nandakanan Road after a girl reportedly lost her left hand after being hit by a Mo Bus this morning. Severe traffic congestion was reported following the roadblock and interception of Mo Buses by public, plying on the route.
As many as 12 Mo Buses were stranded in the middle of the road as irate locals did not allow them to run. The Chandrasekharpur police is trying to pacify the irate local and clear the traffic congestion.
The driver of the Mo Bus was driving at over speed and failed to control the wheels. A girl was hit by the bus and it ran over her left hand, said a local.
It is not the first accident by Mo Bus drivers. They are always driving recklessly and many times in inebriated condition. The government should take stringent action against the driver, claimed the locals.
