Mumbai, October 9: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt recently renewed his wedding vows with his wife, Maanayata Dutt, in a traditional ceremony held at their newly renovated home in Mumbai.
A video of the intimate ritual, which included the couple taking pheras, went viral on social media.
In the video, Sanjay wore a saffron kurta and pyjama, while Maanayata donned simple white attire. The ceremony was reportedly part of a religious pooja, and Maanayata shared a picture from the event on her Instagram Story.
Sanjay, who has been married three times, tied the knot with Maanayata in 2008. His first marriage was with Richa Sharma in 1987, who passed away in 1996 due to a brain tumor. His second marriage with Riya Pillai ended in divorce in 2008, the same year he married Maanayata. The couple welcomed twins in 2010 and currently live in Dubai, having moved there before the first lockdown in 2020.
Maanayata has been a pillar of support for Sanjay, particularly during his legal troubles and his battle with lung cancer in 2020. His life, marked by personal struggles and controversies, was chronicled in the biopic Sanju, starring Ranbir Kapoor.
On the professional front, Sanjay Dutt is set to appear in the upcoming Kannada film KD – The Devil, which also stars Dhruva Sarja, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, and V Ravichandran. Directed by Prem, the film is based on true events from 1970s Bangalore.
