Bhubaneswar, April 25: After holding a massive rally in Sonepur, Union Home Minister Amit Shah today held a meeting with senior party leaders in Bhubaneswar ahead of the general and assembly elections in Odisha.
Shah discussed poll strategies with the senior leaders and asked them to implement the strategies at the ground level to ensure that the party emerges victorious in the twin elections.
Earlier today, Shah attacked the BJD government for its failure to ensure development in the state and called for formation of first BJP government in Odisha.
The Union Minister sharpened his attack on the Chief Minister asking the people to root out the Naveen Patnaik government from the state.
“You have given power to Naveen Patnaik for 25 years and now give five years to BJP. We will ensure that the state will march ahead with development as happened in other states run by the double engine government”, he remarked.
He said Odisha, despite of having the huge mineral deposits and water resources, has not witnessed the development during the last 25 years of Naveen Patnaik government.
