Bhubaneswar, March 24: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast indicating thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds, reaching speeds of 30-40 kmph, in multiple districts of Odisha tomorrow.
The districts expected to be impacted include Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Gajapati, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, and Keonjhar. A yellow warning has been issued for these areas.
Government authorities have urged the residents in these districts to take appropriate precautions and stay informed about the latest weather updates.
Along with the thunderstorms, the IMD also anticipates light to moderate rain or thundershowers across various regions of the state. Fishermen have been advised to avoid venturing into the sea during this period due to the expected conditions.
