Puri, Dec 28: In a tragic incident at a spiritual program held in Odisha’s Puri, two men died during the Nigamananda Devotees Convention on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Rabindranath Pal, a native of Medinapur in West Bengal and Jagannath Samal, a resident of Cuttack.
According to report, thousands of devotees had joined the 4-day Nigamananda Convention held in the premises of Hariharananda Gurukul Ashram situated at the Balighai village. Three of the devotees from the camp were hospitalized as they complained of chest pain. Pal and Samal reportedly collapsed in the afternoon under treatment.
Worth mentioning, another devotee identified as Pravasini Panigrahi who hails from the Polsara area in Ganjam had died of heart attack on Thursday.
