Cuttack, May 15: The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, is set to headline a grand roadshow today in the city of Cuttack, Odisha. This marks the BJP's second major roadshow in the state amid the ongoing campaigning for both Lok Sabha and assembly elections.

Spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 10 in the state capital, Bhubaneswar, the BJP continues its vigorous campaign efforts in Odisha. State BJP spokesperson Sajjan Sharma anticipates a massive turnout, estimating nearly a lakh participants for Shah's roadshow.

Commencing from Gopabandhu Park, the roadshow is slated to traverse through significant junctions in Cuttack, encompassing Buxi Bazar, Tinikonia Bagicha, Dargha Bazar, Choudhry Bazar, Naya Sarak, Balu Bazar, Chandni Chowk, Mohammadia Bazar, and concluding at Chandi Mandir chhak. The event is scheduled to commence at 4 pm.

In a flurry of political activities, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also gearing up for his third visit to Odisha within a fortnight, slated for May 20. Modi's itinerary includes a grand roadshow in Puri followed by public addresses in Cuttack and Angul, underscoring the BJP's intensive campaign efforts in the region.
