Lucknow, Oct 4: In a tragic road mishap in UP, at least ten construction workers were killed and three others were critical after a truck rams into a tractor on Friday.
The incident took place at the GT Road at the Mirzapur-Varanasi border.
According to police reports, the tractor was carrying 13 labourers from a construction site in the Bhadohi district. Meanwhile it was struck from behind by a truck. As a result, 10 wagers were crushed to death under the vehicles where as several were injured.The critical ones were promptly referred to the Trauma Centre in Varanasi for treatment.
The police following the rescue operation filed a case in this connection and initiated an investigation.
