Khyber, January 26: At least 30 terrorists were eliminated by the Pak Army during three separate encounters in the Khyber and Lakki Marwat districts in two days.
According to reports, the Pak security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation on Friday and Saturday in District Lakki Marwat wherein 18 terrorists were killed.
In District Karak, security forces carried out another and killed another 8 terrorists during fire exchanges.
The third confrontation occurred in the Bagh area of Khyber District, where forces eliminated four terrorists, including Kharji leaders Aziz ur Rehman Qari Ismail and Kharji Mukhlis.
Earlier, on January 12, the Pak security forces had eliminated nine terrorists in two separate operations in the North Waziristan area.
Apart from major eliminations, the forces recovered substantial cache of weapons and ammunition from the deceased terrorists, who had been involved in numerous vital attacks against security personnel and civilians across nations.
