Bhubaneswar, March 30: An Odia Homemaker Tapaswini Barada after her ‘Mrs Maharashtra’ crown became an icon for Karnataka Book of Records.
Tapaswini, a native from the Sikiri village in Odisha's Ganjam district is now making headlines for her new feat.
She acknowledged the coveted recognition at a prominent event in Bengaluru, Karnataka on Sunday.
Tapaswini's journey from a mere housewife to becoming an iconic woman was industrious.
Earlier she came onto the ramp in Maharashtra among scores of beauties and clinched the ‘Mrs Maharastra’ crown. In Mrs. Maharashtra talent show she showcased her capabilities displaying various problems faced by women through her solo acting.
During the Pandemic, Barada had successfully qualified as many as three tough rounds for Mrs. Global Bollywood Queen contest. However, she failed as the Covid-19 waves went more violent while flying Dubai for the show, was not only difficult but also impossible.
With another great leap, Tapaswini secured a righteous place in the ‘Karnataka Book of Records’ recently and became a token of inspiration for the rural women.
