Bhubaneswar, April 20: Yet in another organized crime in the Capital City, a man was shut at in the Balipatna area near Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
The victim, identified as Diptiranjan Mohapatra, was hospitalized as he sustained critical injuries on his hand.
As per reports, Deeptiranjan was at her rented house. Meanwhile, two bike-borne miscreants barged into his premises and opened fire targeting him all of a sudden. As a result, the victim was severely wounded. However, he narrowly saved himself rushing into a room.
On being informed, the Balipatna Police rushed to the spot, initiated an investigation and seized the shot shell from the ground.
A case in this regard was registered with the Balipatna Police based on which the cop is in search of the miscreants.
