Bhubaneswar, Apr 2: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced a five per cent rebate for residents and property owners who pay their holding tax in advance for the 2025-26 financial year.
To avail of this benefit, payments must be made online through the Bhubaneswar.me portal by April 30.
As per reports, BMC has set up 22 revenue camps across the city with an aim to make tax collection easier. These include 13 camps in the southeast zone, five in the southwest zone, and four in the north zone.
The camps will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM on all working days throughout April.
Apart from advance payments, property owners can also use these camps to clear any outstanding holding tax dues.
For the 2025-26 financial year, BMC has set a revenue target of Rs 119.5 crore from holding and property tax, and Rs 15.8 crore from hoardings and advertisements on both government and private land.
