Mumbai, Oct 11: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan's birthday is a celebration for his fans, comparable to a festival. As the legendary actor turned 82 today, admirers gathered outside his home to catch a glimpse of him, just as they do every year.
Enthusiastic fans shouted his name and snapped photos of the 'Shahenshah of Bollywood.' Amitabh himself stepped outside of his house for a few minutes to greet the crowd at Jalsa, receiving a warm welcome filled with cheers and adoration.
On the professional front, Amitabh recently appeared in the film Vettaiyan alongside Rajinikanth, which was released in theaters. The star also shared the screen with Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati in this project. Looking ahead, he will co-star with Deepika Padukone in the Hindi remake of The Intern.
Earlier this year, in June, Amitabh and Deepika were featured in the futuristic film Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin. This post-apocalyptic movie, inspired by Hindu scriptures, is set in the year 2898 AD and also stars Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Disha Patani.
