Sambalpur, March 26: While an Odisha-based Professor was suspended for attending a training program outside the state in an inebriated condition earlier, an Associate Professor of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology(VSSUT) was suspened for attending classes in drunken state on Wednesday.
The varsity authorities issued letter to the offending faculty in this connection.
The Associated Professor has been identified as Jay Prakash Paramguru.
According to the office order, Paramguru was put under suspension citing less of attendance and taking classes in inebriated conditions.
The opinion of the faculty member is yet to be taken.
