Mumbai, Oct 13: Following the brutal assassination of NCP leader Baba Siddique (Ajit Pawar Faction), Bhai Jaan’s security has been beefed up.
Accordingly the security cover has been increased in and outside the Galaxy Apartments, the residence of actor Salman Khan from late at night on Saturday, after the ‘Tiger’ returned back home from the Lilavati Hospital in the wee hours biding tearful adieu to Baba Siddique.
Police in line with the private bouncer personnel deployed as the Bhai Jaan’s PSOs are currently keeping a close vigil in the vicinity, said sources.It’s because, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is behind the killing of Siddique who had earlier attempted to assassinate the Super Star firing shots. As the Bhai Jaan was in Baba’s good book for years together, the police and crime branch almost anticipate that the recent political killing poses concern for the Bolywood ‘Tiger’ as he was reportedly targeted by the Lawrence Bishnoi notorious gang earlier.
Though the ‘Tiger’ has not yet sought extended security cover, he has been found calm and sulky since the gruesome incident of killng one of his peer persons like Siddique. Salman Khan was spotted arriving at Lilavati Hospital in the wee hours of Sunday, visibly shaken by the tragic news of his close friend Baba Siddique’s death.
Baba Siddique, who joined Ajit Pawar faction of NCP, died after being shot at by unidentified persons. The firing took place outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique’s office near Colgate ground in Nirmal Nagar in the Bandra area of Mumbai.
