Jajpur, Oct 31: In an unprecedented incident a car with seven people onboard caught fire in Jaipur on Thursday.
On being informed the fire service personnel controlled the flames and rescued the people, however the vehicle was then fully damaged on the spot.
Sources said, one Jayesh Gupta was travelling for Jajpur with his family. Meanwhile, his car caught fire all of a sudden as it hit the Gopalpura culvert. As the flames and shoot filled in, the driver informed the fire brigade about the incident who rushed to the spot and controlled the fire.
Primary investigation said that, the car was owned by one Amitabh Gupta, a resident of Malviya Nagar.
Worth mentioning, on October 12, an unmanned car had caused panic among commuters after it erupted in flames while speeding through the busy Ajmer Road in Jaipur.
