New Delhi, October 13: In a major drug bust, Delhi and Gujarat Police seized 1,289 kilograms of cocaine, valued at Rs 13,000 crore, as part of their ongoing joint operation under the Zero Tolerance against Drugs initiative and the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
The raid led to the discovery of 518 kilograms of cocaine from Avkar Drugs Limited Company in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, on Sunday.
Earlier, on October 1, the Delhi Police Special Cell had seized 562 kilograms of cocaine and 40 kilograms of hydroponic marijuana from a warehouse in Mahipalpur, owned by Tushar Goyal. Subsequent investigations led to the recovery of an additional 208 kilograms of cocaine from a shop in Ramesh Nagar, Delhi, on October 10.
The seized drugs have been linked to Pharma Solution Services, which sourced them from Avkar Drugs Limited. This large-scale operation marks a significant step in India's fight against drug trafficking.
