Bhubaneswar, Feb 2: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Parvati Parida on Sunday announced that the fourth phase of the first installment of the Subhadra Yojana will be credited to the beneficiaries on February 8.
The amount will be transferred to the accounts of the beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) at a special event in Jajpur.
The beneficiaries who receive a phone call from their bank must visit their branch on February 3 and 4 to complete their e-KYC verification. Upon successful verification, they will receive the money. If the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) clearance is completed on these dates, the total number of beneficiaries is expected to reach 1 crore, said Parida.
Those who do not receive the benefit in February must verify their data by March 8. Once their verification is complete, they will also receive the assistance, added Parida.
The government aims to provide financial support to as many women as possible by March 8. So far, Subhadra money has been transferred to the bank accounts of 80 lakh women.
Additionally, the second installment of the Subhadra Yojana, which was launched on September 17, 2024, will be credited to the bank accounts of eligible women on March 8, coinciding with International Women’s Day.
