Ranchi, November 28: Hemant Soren, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) supremo, took oath as Jharkhand’s chief minister for the fourth time on Thursday
The JMM leader Soren was sworn in as the 14th CM of the mineral-rich state’s after winning the state Assembly elections earlier this month.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee have attended the oath taking ceremony organized at state capital -Ranchi.
The JMM-led alliance won 56 seats in the recently concluded elections for the 81-member Assembly in Jharkhand. The BJP-led NDA managed to get 24 seats.
