The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has initiated its 2025-26 recruitment drive for 6,128 clerk positions. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the preliminary test on the official website, www.ibps.in. Applications must be submitted by July 21. The IBPS Clerk preliminary exams are scheduled for August, followed by the main exams in October.
IBPS recruitment 2024 details:
Age limit: Candidates must be between 20 to 28 years old as of July 1, 2024.
Educational qualification: Applicants must hold a Graduation degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
Computer literacy: Proficiency in operating computer systems is mandatory.
Application fee: The application fee is Rs 175/- for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates and Rs 850/- for all others, inclusive of GST. The fee must be paid by July 21, 2024.
Selection procedure: The IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam includes sections on English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability, totaling 100 questions worth 100 marks. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates need to qualify in each section and meet the cutoff marks set by IBPS. Successful candidates will proceed to the Online Main examination.
Exam details: The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Examination (CBE) mode and offered in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages.
Participating banks: Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Indian Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank.
