Koraput , Dec 18: Koraput district has taken a major step forward in healthcare with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art 300-bed District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Jeypore.
The hospital, which was built at an investment of Rs 142 crore, is poised to address the growing medical needs of the region by offering advanced treatment options and specialized care.
The new hospital is complemented by the construction of 96 staff quarters, ensuring comfortable accommodation for healthcare professionals, thereby enhancing the workforce’s ability to provide uninterrupted services.
Additionally, a new terminal at the Jeypore airstrip has been launched, improving transport links for both medical staff and patients, and ensuring better connectivity for the area.
