Nayagarh, March 13: In an heart wrentching incident, a man killed his two minor sons as the duo opposed his second marriage.
The incident took place at Dhanchangada village under Fatehgarh police limits in Odisha’s Nayagarh, a couple of days ago.
The Nayagarh police on Thursday arrested a man, identified as Prakash Mohanty on the charges of killing his two minor sons, one aged 14 years other and 11 years.
According to reports, the accused killed his two sons strangulating them cruelly and later hanged them to show it as a case of suicide.
Police had seized the bodies and registered an UD case in this connection. However, police investigation revealed that the man who was in touch with his fiancée after death of married wife, got rid of his two sons who were the barriers before the second marriage.
Further investigation into the case is underway while the grandparents are under police scanner, who had allegedly assisted their son in the crime.
