Mumbai, Jan 24: The Mumbai Police last evening recorded the statement of actor Saif Ali Khan, said reliable reports in this regard.
Earlier, his wife and actor Kareena Kapoor’s statement was recorded by the Bandra Police.
Saif Ali Khan approached the auto driver Bhajan Singh Rana on Jan 22, placing a hand on his shoulder as he snapped a picture together.

As he was leaving the hospital, Saif paused for a moment to wave at the paparazzi and greeted them warmly. But his attention soon returned to the auto driver. He walked over, took another photo with him, and expressed his gratitude.
Saif’s mother, Sharmila Tagore also thanked the driver and encouraged him to continue helping others. Saif, too, praised the auto driver’s actions and urged everyone to lend a hand in the same way. He mentioned that he owed the driver money and promised to pay him soon. Rana, the driver, simply responded with a smile.
Saif reassured him that if he ever needed help in the future, he would be there for him.
Worth mentioning, the attack occurred early Jan 16 morning when an assailant entered Saif’s Bandra home through the room of his youngest son, Jeh. Reports indicate that the intruder first attacked the household staff, and when Saif intervened, he was stabbed multiple times. The actor sustained six stab wounds, two of which were particularly serious as they were close to his spine. Doctors removed a 2.5-inch knife from his injury during surgery. Saif was later moved to the ICU, where he is said to be out of danger.
The incident unfolded around 2:15 am when Saif, hearing a commotion in Jeh’s room, investigated and found the intruder in a confrontation with the house help. In an attempt to protect the staff, Saif bravely confronted the burglar, ultimately being injured in the process
