Bhubaneswar, February 18: In view of the escalating unrest on the KIIT Campus in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar following the death of a Nepali girl student, the Commissionerate Police on Thursday set up a control room near the campus to ensuring students’ safety & security.

Apart from it, the Commissionerate Police has issued helpline numbers to contact police in case of emergency.
According to DCP Bhubaneswar Pratik Mishra, the KIIT inmates (students) can dial the toll free number 8280338301 for police assistance.

Worth mentioning, students’ unrest on the KIIT Campus has wreaked a law & order situation in Bhubaneswar as the learners are insisting on providing justice to the deceased’s family arresting the KIIT authorities who are solely responsible for the incident.
