Hyderabad, Dec 5: Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala tied the knot in a traditional Telugu wedding ceremony on Wednesday. The intimate ceremony took place at the renowned Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, surrounded by close family and friends.
Veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni, Naga Chaitanya’s father, shared beautiful images from the ceremony on his official X account, expressing his joy and emotions. The wedding took place at the auspicious muhuratam of 8:13 PM, following traditional Telugu rituals guided by family elders. The ceremony was a blend of rich cultural customs, creating a joyous and festive atmosphere, with heartfelt blessings from all present. In addition to family and close friends, several celebrities were also part of the celebration.
For her special day, Sobhita wore a stunning gold Kanjivaram silk saree adorned with real gold zari, paired with temple jewelry to honor her cultural heritage. Naga Chaitanya looked dashing in a traditional white outfit.
The couple had earlier made their relationship public in August this year, sharing photos from their engagement ceremony. In a heartfelt joint post, they quoted a passage from A.K. Ramanujan’s Kurunthogai, expressing their deep love and commitment to each other.
Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple announced their separation in October 2021 through a joint statement on social media.
