Mumbai, Jul 3: Actress Mrunal Thakur described her experience working on the set of Prabhas-starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD' as surreal and said that she has "never seen anything of this scale in India till date."
Mrunal, who makes a special appearance in the Nag Ashwin directorial, said “I have never seen anything of this scale in India till date. The visual effects and graphics are truly groundbreaking."
She expressed her admiration for the dedication and hard work of the technicians and actors involved in bringing Nag Ashwin’s vision for 'Kalki 2898 AD' to life.
The film features an extensive star cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone, set in a post-apocalyptic world.
As per reports, 'Kalki 2898 AD' is poised to become the first mega-hit of 2024, having already grossed Rs 625 crore globally. On July 1, it surpassed the Rs 600 crore mark at the worldwide box office, as noted by film trade analyst Ramesh Bala. The film is on track to become the year's first blockbuster upon reaching Rs 800 crore.
