Odisha CM conducts another aerial survey in cyclone affected areas

Bhubaneswar, October 28:  Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today conducted another aerial survey of the areas affected by cyclone ‘Dana’ in the state.

 Chief Minister Majhi along with Revenue minister Suresh Pujari and senior officials undertook aerial survey of cyclone affected Balasore and Mayurbhanj districts today. This is his second aerial survey after cyclone Dana.

Earlier on Sunday, the Chief Minister conducted an aerial survey of affected areas in Kendrapara and Bhadrak districts.

Chief Minister has also taken stock of the situation at Habelikhati nature camp in Bhitarkanika of Kendrapada district where cyclone Dana had made landfall around midnight of October 24.

Following his aerial survey,the Chief Minister also reviewed the damage at a meeting at the SRC office. 

Notably, Chief Minister has already directed the officials to prepare the damaged assessment report by November 2.  It would help the government disburse the compensation to the affected people.
