Odisha CM distributes appointment letters to 16009 teachers

Bhubaneswar, October 5: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi distributed appointment letters to 16,009 junior teachers during an event at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.

 The ceremony, which marks a significant milestone for the state's educational sector, was also attended by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

In addition to the CM, prominent figures such as Deputy Chief Minister KV Singhdeo, School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond, and Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj were present at the event. 

The newly appointed junior teachers will serve in primary and upper primary schools across various districts in Odisha.

The School and Mass Education Department has announced that a specialized training program will be conducted to further equip these teachers with the skills needed for their roles.
