Bhubaneshwar, Dec 6: The Odisha government is conducting a statewide survey for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana after which the houses will be provided to beneficiaries accordingly, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Minister Rabi Narayan Naik said.
"For Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, we are conducting the survey. There are a total of 10 criteria under which the survey is being conducted”, the Minister said.
Initially, we have created awareness in every panchayat and told people about the survey. Besides, a mobile app has been launched. The details of the poor will be uploaded in it, he added.
Specially-abled people and widows will be included as well. Salaries of the people will also be considered for providing houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the Minister added.
In this way, the department will get the list in two months. After that, the department will conduct a survey again and arrangements will be made to provide Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
