These guidelines will be finalized following consultations between the School and Mass Education Department, the Higher Education Department, and other relevant authorities. The new directives will provide details on adjusted start times for morning classes and outline essential safety measures to safeguard students from the extreme heat, according to Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari.
In addition, separate guidelines will be issued for the general public, offering crucial information on how to stay safe during the summer months.
Minister Pujari further highlighted, "The Revenue Department has adjusted morning office hours, and we will soon decide on the appropriate course of action regarding morning schools and their potential closure after further consultations with the concerned departments."
