Bhubaneswar, February 22: Department of Tourism, government of Odisha, in association with FICCI, is organising the 6th 'Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025’ a flagship buyer-sellers’ meet that aims to bring together all the national and international Travels & Tour operators, Destination Management companies(DMCs) and sellers from Odisha under one platform to let them explore the various tourism offerings of Odisha from 24 to 27 February 2025 at Mayfair convention and Swosti Premium in Bhubaneswar.
Taking the momentum forward the ‘Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025’ shall promote Odisha as a leading tourism destination to both domestic and foreign tourists.The hidden gems of Odisha are now emerging as prime choices of travellers to witness authentic experiences. With its unique natural and cultural heritage Odisha is now a place for a driverse and immersive travel experience to enjoy the absolute beauty of travel for years to come.
The primary objective of ‘Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025’ is to create a platform for aggressive promotion of tourist destination in Odisha to domestic buyers from India as well as in the international market.Strategic actions are being taken in this regard by the state government to establish Odisha as a diverse tourism hub of global standards by pitching a refreshingly new vision of the state.
100 domestic tour operators from 30 plus cities from across India and 30 plus foreign tour operators from across 17 countries like Australia, UK ,Germany, Belgium, South Africa, Spain, Singapore and others are participating in the event.
This event will focus on B2B meetings between 70 sellers from the tourism fraternity of Odisha with Domestic Tour Operators(DTOs) and Foreign Tour Operators(FTOs) followed by familiarization trips to various tourism destinations of Odisha like Bhitarakanika ,Raghurajpur,Puri,Konark , Diamond Triangle and others.
Apart from it, at least 3,000 pre-scheduled meetings are fixed with the sellers. B2G meetings and adventure workshops have also been planed during the event.
