Bhubaneswar, March 5: The Orissa High Court has granted conditional permission for self-styled godman Sarathi Baba, also known as Santosh Roul, to visit Barimula in Kendrapara to see his ailing brother.

As per the court's directive, Sarathi Baba is permitted to visit Kendrapara once every two months, subject to several conditions. He is prohibited from visiting his ashram or staying overnight in the region. The visits are restricted to daylight hours, between 5:30 am and 5:30 pm, and must receive prior approval from the trial court.

Furthermore, the court has upheld the previous restriction on gatherings at his ashram, limiting them to a maximum of 200 people, which remains in effect as part of his bail conditions.

Sarathi Baba, who is facing multiple sexual harassment charges, was granted bail after spending several years in jail. Additionally, he is prohibited from holding spiritual discourse programs.
