Passengers of an Air India Express flight from New Delhi to Bhubaneswar faced a shocking ordeal when their flight was mysteriously delayed and changed twice—due to vague reasons.

Kept unaware for hours with fake excuses, travelers were finally informed by the pilot himself that their flight was canceled, and they would be reassigned to another one after nearly seven hours.
As per reports, the passengers of the Air India Express flight (IX 2114) were supposed to board at 8:35 PM at Gate No. 60 and scheduled to take off at 9:15 PM. However, the take-off did not happen on time.
At around 9:20 PM the Captain announced that something needs to be fixed following which the flight will take-off. Shockingly, the passengers were made to sit in the aircraft for nearly three hours until 11:45 PM. It was a suffocationg and tiring experience for the passengers inside th plane
Moments later, they were asked to de-board the flight and told they had been assigned a seperate plane will be available for their destination. However, they were left wandering around Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, for food and water as they were stuck at one end of the airport i.e. gate 60 which was at one end of the airport without any facility for the passengers
When they finally at one point the pilot arrived and informed them that the flight has been cancelled.
Adding to their frustration, passengers were not provided with basic ameneties i.e water and snacks and were made to wait even longer. When the passengers asked for food and snacks they were answered back that this is a no frill airline and they have to pay for any extra services. Leaving the passengers frustrated as the area they were asked to wait had no facility for food or water. They were also forced to walk back and forth between Gate No. 1, where the security check is done, and Gate No. 60 three times—a distance that takes nearly 30 minutes to walk one way.
Eventually, they were assigned another flight around 4 AM which took off after 45 minutes delay at 4:45 AM and arrived in Bhubaneswar at approximately 6:30 AM.
Passengers voiced their frustration, feeling that they were treated unfairly simply because they were traveling to Odisha. They claimed that their concerns were ignored and that flights on this route were given lower priority.
Many expressed anger over being misled for hours instead of being informed about the real issue. They also criticized the airline for making them wander from gate to gate without proper guidance. Some passengers believed that if the flight had been to a more prominent destination, it would have been handled more efficiently.
The incident left them feeling neglected and disappointed with the airline’s treatment.
