New Delhi, February 1: The Union Budget has allocated Rs 141.83 crore for the staff, household, and allowances of the President, marking a modest increase of Rs 8.22 crore from the Rs 133.61 crore set aside in the revised estimates for the current fiscal year.
In the 2024-25 Budget, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had initially proposed an allocation of Rs 144.18 crore, which was later revised down to Rs 133.61 crore.
