The Hindi version of Pushpa 2 on Monday earned a massive 46.4 cr to leave all big films behind, except Tiger. Here is the list.
- Tiger – 50 cr
- Pushpa 2 The Rule – 48 cr
- Bahubali 2 – 40.25 cr
- Animal – 40.06 cr
- Gadar 2 – 38.7 cr
- Stree 2 – 38.1 cr
- Tiger Zinda Hai – 36.54 cr
- Houseful 4 -34.56cr
A glance at the data shows Pushpa 2 is at number 2 behind Tiger. But the fact is Allu Arjun movie had recorded a record 86 cr collection on Sunday. The Sunday BO collection of the film has been highest ever in annals of Hindi cinema.
FASTEST 400 CR HINDI FILM
As per senior journalist-cum-trade analyst, Taran Adarsh , Pushpa 2 targets 425 cr in week 1. He wrote, “Despite an extraordinary run over the *extended* weekend, Pushpa 2 has stormed into the weekdays with a bang... The Monday numbers are nothing short of phenomenal.”
At this pace, the film is on track to become the fastest film to cross the Rs 400 cr milestone.
PUSPHA 3 THE RAMPAGE – REAL OR FAKE?
The dream success of Pushpa 2 The Rule has confirmed the coming up of the sequel number 3 or Pushpa 3 The Rampage. A hint at Pushpa 3 was there in the climax scene of Pushpa 2 and the fans of iconic star Allu Arjun seems doubly excited.
The coming of the sequel got amply clear from the viral picture of sound designer Rasul Pukutti on X .
In the picture they are seen in their studio with their team. Pushpa 3: The Rampage appeared on the screen behind them.
Soon after the picture went viral, Rasul immediately deleted the post. The delete has infused the element of suspense in the air.
But Pushpa 3 abhi zinda hai news came from the South Star Vijay Devarkonda. He had posted a post on the birthday of director Sukumar.
In the post, Vijay wrote that 2021-The Rise. 2022- The Rule. 2023 - The Rampage. This post of Vijay Devarkonda gave fuel to the buzz that he is going to play the role of villain in Pushpa 3.
Amidst these 2 high profile post droppings, the buzz doing round is Fahadh Faasil vowed not act in any Telugu film after the alleged portrayal of SP Sekhawat in a more comical way in the 2nd half.
The buzz confirmed that Pushpa 3 will happen but Fahadh will not be the main antagonist.
PUSHPA 3 RELEASE DATE
As per a gossip in tollywood, Allu Arjun will now give time to pending film projects soon after the release of Pushpa 2. The tollywood sources say, Sukumar will also take time to fine tune the Pushpa 3 script, after strong views about poor storyline of Pushpa 2 vis –a – vis Pushpa 1. The celebrated Director even admitted to having written a poor script for the Pushpa 2.
The same buzz, therefore, puts the tentative release date of Pushpa 3 The Rampage in year 2029/30.
