Bhubaneswar, Ap 22: In a bid to ramp up the campaign for the 2024 twin elections in Odisha, prominent Congress figures, Rahul Gandhi and Telangana Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy, are set to visit the state in May.
According to Koraput Lok Sabha member Saptagiri Ulaka, Rahul Gandhi is slated to make a visit to Rayagada on May 3, followed by Revanth Reddy's campaign program in a southern Odisha district on May 8.
During his visit, Gandhi plans to address a massive rally expected to draw around 100,000 locals and party workers. Meanwhile, the focus of Telangana CM Revanth Reddy's efforts will be the Rayagada district, where he aims to engage Telugu voters and solicit their support for the Congress in the forthcoming Odisha elections.
Ulaka further stated that Reddy is scheduled to address the public during a grand procession proceeding to Amalabhata Chhak after paying homage at the Maa Majhiriani Temple in Rayagada on May 8.
