Ram Navami rituals:
Early Morning Rituals and Sankalp:
Begin the day by waking up early, taking a holy bath, and making a Sankalp to observe the fast while remembering Lord Ram.
Clean the place of worship and purify it with Gangajal.
Place images or idols of Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, Lord Lakshman, and Lord Hanuman on a clean altar, and cover it with a yellow cloth.
Perform the Panchopachar i.e. five-fold worship of Lord Ram with offerings of flowers, incense, lighted lamps, and sweets.
Chant the Ram Charit Manas, recite Ram Raksha Stotra, and read verses from the Ramayana to seek blessings from Lord Ram.
Perform the Aarti of Lord Ram and distribute Prasad consisting of fruits and Panchamrit made up of milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar.
Engage in devotional singing, chanting the name of Ram, and participate in Ram kirtans and hymns to invoke the divine blessings.
