Sambalpur, April 5: As Ram Navami approaches, the district police have stepped up security across Sambalpur town to ensure a peaceful and safe celebration. Special attention is being given to the sensitive Motijharan area under Dhanupali police station, where drones, a dog squad, and a bomb squad are being deployed for close monitoring.
Sambalpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Mukesh Bhamu shared that an integrated control room will oversee CCTV surveillance using artificial intelligence. Around 49 critical locations have been identified, with 160 cameras and 22 drones in place.
Additionally, peace committee meetings have been conducted to further ensure harmony during the festivities. Continuous 24/7 monitoring will be in effect to maintain security.
