Sonepur, April 25: Union Home Minister Amit Shah today called for formation of first BJP government in Odisha to ensure all round development in the state.

Addressing a rally at Sonepur ahead of the ensuing  Lok Sabha and state assembly elections, Shah said the government here has not only deprived Odisha of development but also indulged in massive corruption through officers.

Appealing to vote for BJP to make Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for the third time, he also requested the people to ensure the victory of the party candidates to form the next government in Odisha.

“Modi-wave has gripped entire country and the same is seen in Odisha as well,” said Shah.

Referring to the migration problem in the state, Shah asked the gathering to dethrone the Naveen Patnaik government and bring BJP to power in Odisha.

“I assure you that no one will have to migrate to other states in search of work,” the Home Minister said.

While rice is being provided by the Modi government under public distribution system, Naveen babu-led government is trying to hijack it, informed the BJP leader attacking the BJD government for looting the natural resources of the state.

The state government tried to divert the Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony, but the people of Odisha celebrated it, he said.
