Puri, January 24: No illegal photo-shoot or taking aerial views of the Puri Jagannath Temple is now possible. Coz, Odisha government is all set to build up watchtower infra to put an eagle’s eye on these activities.
Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan revealed it on Thursday.
While underlining the beefed up security arrangements in & around the Puri Jagannath Temple, the Law Minister said,“We are considering the installation of a watchtower by the Puri Srimandir, in a bid to enhance surveillance capabilities.”
The initiative will help keeping close eyes on illegal photography, video recording and drone flying over the shrine, Harichandan added.
Apart from the watchtower installation, comprehensive security provision at all the entrances will be intensified with sophisticated surveillance devices Harichandan said.
