Bhubaneswar, February 14: Senior Congress Leader from UP, Ajay Kumar Lallu has been appointed as Odisha Congress In-charge.
The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed Lallu as the party’s In-Charge for Odisha, revealed a press release issued by the AICC.
Similarly, Odisha MP from Koraput Dr. Saptagiri Ulaka has been appointed as party-incharge of four states i.e Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim and Nagaland.
Apart from it the AICC has also approved the appointment of some senior leaders as AICC General Secretaries and In-Charges for various states and union territories.
According to the release, Bhupesh Baghel has been assigned Punjab, while Dr. Syed Naseer Hussain as Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh incharge. On the other hand, Dr. Hussain has been relieved from his duties in the Congress President’s office.
Apart from it, Rajani Patil will handle Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh, BK Hariprasad has been given the charge of Haryana, and Harish Chaudhary as Madhya Pradesh state in-charge.
Similarly, Girish Chodankar appointed for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, K. Raju for Jharkhand, Meenakshi Natarajan for Telangana. Krishna Allavaru has been appointed as Bihar Congress in-charge, read the release.
