Bhubaneswar: Maddock Films historical-action thriller Sky Force advance ticket booking began Wednesday, the film is going to hit the silver screen on Friday (Jan 24).
As the advance booking was thrown over today, initial reports suggest that as on Wednesday evening, the booking commenced for a total of 4,668 across the nation.
The advance booking has commenced in Odisha Capital Bhubaneswar, also. As on date, Sky Force will be holding 29 shows. Reports show selling of around 22.38K tickets in the first 8 hours.
While the cineplexes in the Capital City are holding 29 shows on Day 1, as per reports till Wednesday evening, on Republic Day, they will hold around 35 shows.
As per Cineplex officials, “The shows are tentative as of now. Depending on demand, shows will increase. We expect 35-45 shows on Republic Day.”
Meanwhile, in the Silver City, Cuttack, Akshay Kumar starred movie will be having 13 shows, and the tickets sold stood at approximately 9.8k.
NATIONWIDE SALE
The nationwide data has been shared by Sacnik, as per its report, Sky Force till Wednesday evening has seen booking of 18.4lakh tickets grossing Rs 38 lakh.
As per Sacnik report, the initial trends suggest AKshay Kumar starred movie may do well in the Box Office. Some centres in South India like Trivandurm and Chennai give encouraging trends. The film will be released in Hindi Language only.
SKY FORCE TAKE OFF PERFECT?
A look at the IMDb popular rating, Maddock Films Sky Force gained 1 per cent more popular votes Wednesday, but the movie is still trailing at number 5. Vicky Kaushal starred Chaava due for release In Feb, is just a fraction behind Sky Force in popular rating.
The IMDb's current most anticipated movie list is led by Himmesh Reshammiya starred Badass Ravikumar.
Meanwhile, in another popular indicator, the Sky Force looks promising. In the interests shown on Book My Show, the number is clocking round fast.
On Jan 21, on BookMyShow, interest shown on Sky Force stood at 51k, within hours after start of advance booking, the count clocked up to cross 52k interests.
The zooming of interests for Sky Force in a short span suggests, Akshay Kumar starred Sky Force may do decent business at the Box Office.

As per Saregama Music reported data, the songs of Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya starred movie had been a hit.
The song titled Rang featuring Akshay Kumar had garnered 16mn in just 5 days.
Another song To Hain to Main Hoon featuring Veer Pahariya and Sara Ali Khan released today has grabbed a whopping 5.9mn views in just 7 hours.
Fans appreciated the song for its aesthetic sense of music. While Arijit Singh has lent his golden voice, the music has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi.
