Angul police confiscates Rs1.73 crore assets of Ganja mafia

Angul, Jan 7: Angul police has confiscated the assets of a deliberate ganja mafia on Friday. Property of the Mafia worth Rs 1.73 crores has been seized by the Chhendipada police after it was legally approved by the competent authority. {"id":158435,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} Sources said, the mafia used to yield and traffic contraband ganja after frequent interceptions. Following, this Chhendipada police had nabbed him red-handed and forwarded him for judicial custody by virtue of the NDPS Act. {"id":158436,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} After a nod from the competent authorities, the police seized his properties including bank deposits, a tractor, pump sets, commercial vehicles along with other valuables, which were amassed by the ill-got earnings, said police. {"id":158437,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"}
