Balasore, Jan 31: As part of Road Safety Month, Balasore Police conducted a series of awareness programs, school outreach initiatives, and enforcement drives to promote safer driving habits and reduce road accidents.
The initiative aims to create public awareness about traffic rules and encourage responsible road behavior.

Dr. Satyajit Naik, DIG of the Eastern Range, led a road safety march, emphasizing the urgent need to address the increasing number of road accidents.
The campaign highlights the importance of strict traffic rule enforcement and responsible driving practices to ensure safer roads for all.
Earlier, the Odisha government had launched the ‘Come Home Safe’ campaign as part of its state-level Road Safety Week.
The initiative focuses on educating motorists, pedestrians, and school students about traffic regulations and accident prevention.
Authorities continue to encourage public participation in road safety efforts, urging citizens to follow traffic rules, wear helmets, use seat belts, and avoid reckless driving. The campaign reflects a collective effort to make roads in Odisha safer and reduce the rising number of accidents.
