Bhubaneswar: In a bid to develop grassroot hockey, the Bhubaneswar Hockey Club Trust (BHCT) , in collaboration with the Hockey Association of Odisha and the Government of Odisha, is going to host the 1st Michael Kindo Memorial Hockey Championship Trophy to be at Kalinga Stadium here from 25 to 27 April 2025.
Total nine U-19 teams will take part in the knock out format championship. The teams are HPC Puri, Bhubaneswar Hockey Club trust, HTC Chhatrapur, HTC Jajpur, HTC Cuttack, HPC Ranpur, HTC Bhubaneswar, HPC Dhenkanal and HPC PPL Paradip.
Hockey India President Dillip Tirky, BHC Chairman Capt. Ratikanta Nayak, BHC President Capt. Biswabijay Sahoo, secretary Ranjan Das, Sanjay Sahoo, Biswajeet Sahoo, Praveen Agarwal and Journalist Sambit Mohapatra were present at the press conference.
