Bhubaneswar, Oct 12: Bhubaneswar is abuzz with the spirit of Durga Puja. Lakhs of people are gathering to witness the grand celebrations.
The temple city has also attracted lakhs of pilgrims from across the country and abroad, eager to participate in the festive spectacle.
This year, 187 pandals have been set up across the capital city of Odisha, with 22 of them featuring deities adorned with intricate gold and silver jewelry.
Special security security arrangements have been made at 14 major puja pandals, including Nayapalli, Saheed Nagar, Rasulgarh, Jharpada, Old Station Bazaar, Baramunda, Cuttack Road, Ravi Talkies, Ruchika Market, Lingaraj, Ganga Nagar, Chandrasekharpur, Infocity, and Nandankanan to guard the ornaments and valuables.
