Bhubaneswar: In response to the approaching Cyclone Dana, Eastern Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced the cancellation of more than 175 trains scheduled to operate between October 22-29, 2024. The massive preventive measure was announced on Tuesday afternoon through an official bulletin from the Chief Passenger Transportation Manager of ECoR.

The cancellations affect major routes connecting key cities including Howrah, Puri, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, New Delhi, and Vishakhapatnam. Both up and down trains have been affected, with 85 up trains and 93 down trains cancelled as a precautionary measure.
